SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to join our dynamic HR team. In this key role, you will report directly to the Director of Talent & Leadership Development and be responsible for shaping and driving the strategy for sourcing and attracting top talent. This includes creating strong talent pipelines, irresistible candidate experiences, staying current on emerging trends/technologies and using data to tell our story and inform decisions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·        Develops and implements talent acquisition strategy in alignment with the corporate business strategy and talent philosophy.

  • Owns end-to-end recruitment processes for all roles, ensuring a seamless and irresistible candidate experience.
  • Lead Talent Acquisition team providing direction on goals, coaching/feedback on performance and development and prioritizing work.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

·        Responsible for Talent Acquisition metrics including tracking for active open requisitions across the business.

·        Manages executive recruiting practice and recruits, screens, and interviews candidates for open senior level positions.

·        Develops and maintains strategic relationships with organizations that help us attract top talent including recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), employment agencies, search firms, and other sources of applicants.

·        Equips leaders to effectively recruit, interview and make good hiring decisions.

·        Works with communications and talent brand to align brand messages across recruiting channels, continually building the brand within recruiting venues.

·        Plays a key role in the corporate diversity, equity and inclusion strategy ensuring that recruiting strategies support diversity objectives. 

·        Develops and executes the technology strategy for attracting and recruiting candidates and ensuring efficiencies for the Talent Acquisition team, including applicant tracking systems and social media strategies.

·        Identifies strategic partnership needs such as Assessments and background checks and owns vendor management practices.

·        Ensures compliance with legal regulations and with organization goals and policies.

·        Minimal travel (typically 15 – 25%)

 LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly leads six Talent Acquisition team members, with ten indirect reports.  Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and developing team members; planning, prioritizing, assigning, and directing work; assessing and appropriately addressing performance; rewarding team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·        Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business or other related field of study; and eight (8) years of progressively responsible related experience; and three (3) years of leadership experience. 

·        Experience recruiting with a proven track record of successfully identifying and attracting top talent, including executive, senior professional, technical and hard to fill roles required.

·        Experience with candidate management systems and methodologies to grow, manage and monitor talent pipelines.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·        Deep knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practices including sourcing top talent to meet business needs

·        Knowledge of Talent Acquisition systems and online platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed

·        Excellent communication, teamwork and people skills

·        Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources, develop a story/recommendation and effectively share with stakeholders, including executives

·        Knowledge of effective total compensation and benefits and ability to articulate offers with confidence

·        Expert negotiation skills

·        Ability to partner, collaborate and consult with hiring leaders, executives, team members and other key stakeholders both within and outside of HR

·        Strong sales mentality

·        Outstanding professionalism, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.

·        Demonstrated record of compassionate management and strong mentoring skills.

·        Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong organizational, time management and project management skills

·        Strong advocate for the company – models the company culture

 COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft Office, Artificial Intelligence and Internet knowledge, Excel, Word.

 CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

SHRM certification (PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP) a plus
