Sr. Specialist Organizational Development
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Talent Management professional to join our dynamic HR team. In this key role, you will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Talent Management and be responsible for developing, executing and adopting enterprise talent practices and learning & development solutions including system implementations to automate these practices. Up to 25% travel to off-site locations for training, development, and organizational development consulting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Program Management
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, evaluation and on-going improvement of talent practices or development initiatives, including program development and course integration, competency analysis, vendor management and program evaluation.
- Collaborates with HR business partners and key leaders for program development and strategic alignment of programs and services.
- Leads the coordination and oversight of curriculum design and development for internally developed courses. Recommends methods, timing, and content of training.
§ Analyzes workforce trends, program evaluations, and best practice data to continuously improve talent practices and development program offerings.
Talent Practices
- Owns talent practices such as performance management, assessments, talent management and succession planning including the creation of simple, frameworks and tools for use across the organization.
- Responsible for system implementation to automate talent practices and continually improve them.
- Responsible for developing metrics to measure the success of each talent practice and to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
· Conduct external evaluation of best practices.
Organization Development Initiatives
- Conducts individual, department and system level needs assessments to determine appropriate OD solution in partnership with HR Business Partners.
- Conducts focus groups and analyzes data to diagnose needs and problems.
- Analyzes performance gaps and determines root cause.
- Describes designs and presents solutions to client.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May directly supervise one non-exempt employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Specific knowledge of current practices in talent management, succession planning, hiring and development assessments, coaching, organizational design, performance management, culture change, leadership development, needs analysis, and team interventions.
- Experienced in instructional design and classroom delivery.
- Experience with adult learning methods.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success at project leadership and program implementation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
