  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently, as a member of a team, as well with all types and levels of employees.
  • Strong business acumen. Ability to translate complex business objectives into readily understandable communications for a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in various media platforms, both traditional and digital.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years’ professional communications experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Exceptional written communications skills and ability to use original or innovative techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience creating effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to top management, team members, and public groups.
  • Experience developing comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence others.
  • Familiarity with developing and managing a budget for a department.
  • Capability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • An understanding of all areas of the organization and vision to determine how communications and subsequent decisions affect all team members.

 

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS

Position may at times require heavy travel in the case of an acquisition or sale of a business. Estimate is that travel could be as high as 20% annually and may not be evenly spread throughout the year.
