This position will represent Pella’s portfolio of products in a luxury VIP showroom at the Pella, IA, corporate location.  Focus will be on VIP tours through the showroom and developing relationships across the country with PDSN customers as well as the architectural and design communities.  This position will be a brand ambassador, guiding customers through a first-hand experience of our brands, products and digital tools.  In addition, they will provide event leadership for company sponsored events and showcases at the design center promoting Pella’s products.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Product & Technical Knowledge

  • Consult with showroom guests and educate them about Pella’s products and capabilities
  • Demonstrate product in showroom and home or trade shows, using samples, digital tools and/or collateral, emphasizing features and benefits of Pella products
  • Answer and research technical product questions


Sales & Marketing

  • Manage sales and marketing programs and activities executing the showroom strategy
  • Lead presentations or training sessions as needed                     
  • Assist with marketing projects and customer communications


Operations and Event Management Assistance

  • Manage showroom to exacting standards; regularly clean showroom products & finishes
  • Manage and attend showroom events
  • Ensure showroom is stocked with office, sales/marketing and beverage service supplies
  • Ability to work weekend and evening hours as needed

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university, preferred; Architectural or Interior Design industry background desirable; 3-5 years of luxury showroom or retail experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers and the general public.



Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and to interpret spatial relationships from architectural drawings.



Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
