What you’ll do:

If so, we’re hiring a Production Department Manager 3rdshift at Pella Corporation in Troy, OH to drive continuous improvement and provide training, guidance, and support for our team. Compensation:

In this job you will: (Role and Responsibilities)

  • Directly manage 30 – 35 hourly employees
  • 3rd shift: Monday through Thursday 8pm-6:30am. Friday 8pm-4:30am
  • Responsible for your department’s safety, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain budget for labor efficiencies in department
  • Champion continuous improvement in the department (Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing)
  • Reward and follow corrective action guidelines as needed with employees
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop employee

The ideal production department manager will meet the following qualifications:

  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree or two to five years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Strong team player
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate others
  • Very organized
  • Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement a plus
