As a Material Handler in our Lake Orion warehouse, you’ll apply your habits of working safely to unload units from our manufacturing plants into our warehouse and load them onto our delivery trucks.  You'll achieve your goals by working in an organized and safe manner applying a high attention to details.  You’ll strive to complete at least 99% order accuracy by scanning units in and out of the trucks and handling everything carefully to avoid damage or injury.  You’ll help our sales team grow our business and continually strive for 100% “Very Satisfied” customers.

Education and/or Experience
Must have High School Diploma or GED and dependable work history. Prior warehouse experience preferred.
Computer Skills
Familiarity with computers preferred. You will be expected to develop proficiency in warehouse inventory scanning systems.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to stand; walk; use your hands to finger, handle, type or feel; reach with your hands and arms; and talk or hear.  You will be regularly required to stoop or crouch to pick up objects. You must frequently lift and/or move up to 150 pounds without assistance and more with assistance.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Repetitive body motions will be required. The time commitment required of this position will vary with based on business need.   
Work Environment:
Work environment with this job includes company warehouse facilities and adjoining office. The noise level of this job is typically moderate to loud.  Temperature fluctuates with seasons.  
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written English language skills are required as well as good customer service skills (in person or via the phone).

Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth.  Must be pro-active, self-motivated, and have a demonstrated ability to follow assignments through to completion.  Attention to detail is required.  Must be able to develop trust, respect, and confidence of customers, coworkers and managers. Must present in a clean and neat physical appearance. 
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.  Ability to perform calculations using units of time, measurement, etc.  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, length, width, height, and depth.
