Position Summary:

Join a dynamic creative and content team developing video marketing communications for a leading brand. The Videographer/Editor role is responsible for shooting behind the camera and editing various types compelling video content for internal and external use.  

 

This individual works closely with other members of the content and creative teams to understand video objectives and direction and bring a vision to life through video storytelling. The Videographer/Editor is responsible for shooting and editing engaging on-brand video – including, but not limited to, brand stories, customer stories and testimonials, interviews, product beauty and detail imagery, inspirational content and how-to videos. This position will work closely with other members of the content team on production details for various shoots and is responsible for the creative output and editing of all their own work. The Videographer/Editor should be able to think creatively about bringing new production ideas to the table and share expertise that will help drive the brand forward.

 

Essential job duties and responsibilities for the Videographer/Editor include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Shoot and edit video for various digital outputs, including Pella websites and social channels.

  • Has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of production equipment and can transport, set-up and operate camera, lighting and audio equipment for both on-location and studio shooting.

  • Knowledge of editing software and extensive experience editing stories together while following branding guidelines.

  • Collaborate with content and creative teams on objectives and can bring vision to life through video.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Play a role in advancing our video efforts, including sharing industry trends and providing expertise around production and post-production practices.

     

 

Essential job requirements for this Videographer/Editor include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborative, self-driven, energetic approach.  
  • Creative thinker, problem-solver, multitasker, organized.
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas, and positively accept thoughts and feedback on work.
  • Candidate should possess extensive production experience – both shooting and editing corporate videos.
  • Passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • 7+ years related experience in video production required.
  • Proficiency in production and editing software required.

Basic demands that come from transporting, setting-up and operating camera equipment. Carrying equipment and gear, standing, walking, etc. necessary.
