Sr. Manager - National Accounts Sales
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5-10 years’ directly related experience in field sales with large volume retailers or building materials accounts preferred. General account management experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills – including a unique ability to tailor communications to your respective audience.
- Strong experience in negotiation with seasoned judgment, financial analysis, and strategic thinking.
- Experience communicating with key stakeholders, C-Suite executives, and varying levels of leadership.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B. S.) from four-year college or university; and five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.
Five to ten years direct field sales experience, with specific experience selling and managing two-step/builder supply national large volume retail or building material accounts, preferred. General account management experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
