EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field; and 7+ years’ progressive experience in Human Resources as a business partner or a strategic HR role.
- Proven HR leader and business partner with the ability to influence and drive change at the functional and organizational level. Experience with C-suite Executives preferred.
- Alignment with the people-first culture of Pella that is anchored in caring while remaining focused on learning and results. Leverages both individual and cultural diversity among team members.
- Strategic as well as tactical; sees the bigger picture of the broader strategy and company growth plans and is able and willing to roll up their sleeves to do what it takes to get there.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to quickly build effective and influential working relationships centered on trust across functions and teams.
- Decisive, action-oriented and organized; manages priorities effectively and drives execution throughout the function.
