Sr. Engineering Technical Leader / Materials Research
Job requirements for this Senior Research and Development Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, material science or chemistry preferred
- Master’s degree in engineering preferred
- A minimum of seven years of experience in a minimum of two of the following disciplines: process, product, continuous improvement, project, quality and manufacturing
- Knowledge in materials and associated processes
- Working knowledge of the use and application of chemical analysis laboratory equipment
- Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills required, both written and verbal
- Team player who collaborates well with others to drive results
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook and AutoCAD
- Moderate travel to other sites and divisions; varies based upon business needs
SUPERVISING OTHERS
Primarily an individual contributor role. Capable of leading and influencing a team through complex technical projects from development to implementation. Serves as a mentor and coach to others.
