QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of five (5) years experience of over-the-road driving of tandem tractor/trailer, including backing equipment into alleys and docks. Must have expert knowledge of city driving in large metropolitan areas. Must have safe driving record. Must be familiar with all DOT regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures to correctly complete log book requirements and other documents as required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills desirable.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have only one valid CDL license.
Must have current Medical Examiner’s certificate.
