QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

                                                             

·         7+ years as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role in a large-scale organization, with a focus on large scale projects and initiatives.

·         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·         Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise solutions aligned with TOGAF standards.

·         5+ years experience with cloud (AWS & Azure) in addition to mobile technologies (React Native) are preferred.

·         5+ years experience working with a distributed and loosely coupled architecture

·         Proven ability to drive application rationalization and Cloud Modernization in complex enterprise environments

·         Demonstrated experience in architecting cloud native applications and event-driven architecture

·         Expert knowledge in data warehouse and big data architectures for mission critical systems

·         7+ years as an Agile practitioner

 

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

 

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

·         Robust knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, best practices, and industry standards.

·         TOGAF 9.2 or 10 Foundation Certified - Strongly Perferred

o    TOGAF - Enterprise Architecture Foundations

o    TOGAF - Enterprise Architecture Practioner

·         Proficiency in application, data, infrastructure, and integration architectures, applying TOGAF methodologies.

o    The Open Group - Certified Architect Preferred

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

·         Experience deploying and leveraging an EA Toolset (E.g. LeanIX, Hopex Mega) or similar

 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS                                                                  

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS                                                       

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

 

REASONING ABILITY                                                               

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS                                                                  

To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of integrations with Pella systems.  Knowledge of the technology used to manage the Pela systems and integrations are critical.  A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access is also required. 

  

ADDITIONAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE                  

In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture, system integration, and application development methodologies.  Proficiency in system design and modeling tools, as well as familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).  Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.  Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset to assess requirements and propose innovative solutions.
