Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 5-7 years of project management and sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or window and door applications or components is recommended but not required.
 
Language and Communication Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and presentations.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must be able to make eye contact and present appropriate persona for the situation when interacting with fellow employees or visitor in person on a regular and consistent basis.
 
Professional Skills
Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth. Must be pro-active, have a good attitude, be self-disciplined, and self-motivated. Must be a "take-charge" person with a demonstrated ability to follow projects through to completion. Attention to administrative detail is required. Must be articulate, able to give clear instructions, demonstrate organizational skills, and meet reasonable deadlines. Must be able to gain trust, respect, and confidence of employees and managers. Must present in a clean and neat physical appearance and strictly abide by company dress code serving as a role model for other employees, customer and visitors.
 
Mathematical and Reasoning Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.  Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
 
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, type or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 
 
Travel
50% travel nationally.
