Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of claims management experience; 7+ years of paralegal experience, with some experience in records management and privacy law.
- Education: BA or BS, paralegal degree or certificate.
- Leadership competencies: Lead courageously, Cross Functional, Speed and Agility
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications
- Technical / functional skills: Paralegal Certificate or Degree
- Capable of working independently and with minimal direction on complex projects.
- High ethical standards.
- Self motivation and a positive can do attitude.
- Result-oriented, customer-focused, process-oriented, proactive, and able to effectively work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with and maintain the confidentiality of company information.
- Effectively presents information, defends a position, addresses concerns and fosters collaboration.
- Judgement: Plans, directs, and coordinates work requiring independent judgment in the development, implementation, and execution of risk management and litigation strategies. Communication of Knowledge and coordination of implementation of corporate record retention processes.
Work hours: Normal+ irregular hours/shifts required.
Travel expectations: 5-6 times/year
