ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE HEAD OF ANALYTICS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Master’s Degree with strong academic performance in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Economics. Ph.D. preferred.
  • 10+ years of Advanced Analytics Experience, including progressive experience mining large complex data sets, using a variety of advanced quantitative/modeling techniques in an enterprise analytics discipline 
  • At least 8+ years of progressively responsible relevant experience in data management, including creating partnerships, implementing data governance, and understanding the underlying technologies needed to enable data innovation across a midsized or large organization 
  • 7+ years of leadership experience (including mentoring and coaching team members)
  • Experience in computer programming, query languages, and internet-based data visualization platforms such as Power BI are also preferred 
  • Demonstrated experience with developing data strategy, policies, and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet or exceed expectations in a dynamic environment; experience creating tools and capabilities to assist with data discovery & collaboration, ensure data quality, and to load, clean, enrich, manage, and share data and metadata from a variety of sources 
  • Familiar with big data technologies and Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools
