The Luxury Division of Pella strives to achieve distinct visions for architects and homeowners. The Luxury Division of Pella is comprised of 4 brands including Bonelli Windows & Doors, Duratherm Window Corporation, Grabill Windows and Doors and Reilly Architectural.  Each company’s brand is well established in their field of expertise, complimenting one another in design, manufacturing and performance.  Together these brands provide solutions to one-of-a-kind engineering challenges, exceeding customer’s visionary expectations. 


The Luxury Division of Pella’s Sales Development Director is responsible for the vision and strategy to successfully drive sales and profitable growth.  This position provides direction and leadership to a team of seasoned Luxury Sales Professionals to execute strategies, processes and programs representing all Luxury Division brands. The Luxury Division of Pella’s sales team is charged with developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with luxury/premium architects, home builders and their industry organizations in support of driving a high-volume sales across the Luxury Division.  Core elements of this leadership role include; uniting the Luxury Division sales team and efforts, directing sales activities and marketing efforts in support of sales initiatives and developing future sales talent aligned with growth within the division. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for the identification, development and implementation of sales and marketing programs, policies and procedures to achieve profitability and growth for the Luxury Division of Pella.


Lead Luxury Division marketing efforts in alignment with sales initiatives.


Plan, direct and lead activities and initiatives of the Luxury Division selling process to achieve maximum system-wide sales volume while developing maximum potential in key markets and with key architect and customer relationships.


Provide strategic and tactical leadership for the Luxury Division of Pella’s sales efforts.  Develop, promote and monitor programs to expand geographic coverage and volume while ensuring existing programs and processes receive the appropriate level of customer service in support of ongoing/long-term relationships.


Establish measurement systems and communication vehicles which are supportive of the general goals and objectives of the division.  Maintain close observation of departmental budgets and act in accordance with all divisional objectives in the areas of finance, personnel and sales.


Build and train additional and/or replacement sales team members in support of growth objectives.  Provide necessary and appropriate education and development opportunities for all staff.


TRAVEL Must be prepared to travel as required by the job and to work appropriate hours. Anticipate 25-50% travel required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the Luxury Division of Pella Sales team consisting of 12+ professionals and a Marketing Manager.  Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of sales and marketing team members.  Direct, motivate, reward and recognize the team’s ability to meet or exceed business objectives.  Partner with the team on personal and career development. Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with Pella’s People Focused Culture and the organization's policies and applicable laws to include; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 



Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.



Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
