Essential job qualifications for the digital quality assurance tester include the following:

• Bachelor's degree with technical or business orientation from four-year college or university; or two-year degree with two years related technical experience. Or equivalent combination of education and web experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

• Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Powerplay, and Microsoft Project

• Experience as a Quality Assurance tester monitoring and executing tests through a full lifecycle for web-based applications and preferable e-commerce or consumer facing websites, from requirements gathering to deployment

• Author and execute test cases and suites as part of regular production release cadences

• Experience with agile methodologies

• Strong design skills to assure branding standards and consistency across sites have been met

• Strong familiarity with web technologies, browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices

• Ability to review functional/technical specifications with a focus on testability and quality improvements

• Passion for aligning quality goals to business goals
