Full-time production supervisors receive four weeks of cultural orientation and six months of on-the-job training.

  • Directly manage 30 – 40 hourly employees

  • 2nd or 3rd shift with paid overtime

  • Responsible for your department’s safety, quality, and productivity

  • Maintain budget for labor efficiencies in department

  • Champion continuous improvement in the department (Kaizen, Lean Mfg)

  • Reward and discipline employees

  • Interview, hire, and train employees

 

The ideal production supervisor will have the following qualifications:

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university – Industrial Technology, Business, Finance majors preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Strong team player

  • Enthusiasm and the ability to motivate others

  • Very organized

  • Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement a plus

  • Open to relocation in the US.
