Are you motivated, flexible, and customer service-minded?  Pella Corporation is hiring a customer service team leader to lead a group of customer service representatives in Johnston, Iowa.  The customer service team leader is responsible for coaching, training and coordinating daily tasks of team members to ensure effective and high-quality customer service is provided to the customers.

Job duties for this customer service team leader include, but are not limited to:

  • Coach, mentor, guide, and direct a team of 8-20 customer service team members
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training to meet department needs
  • Making decisions on staffing levels to provide superior customer service, mediating difficult customer situations and resolving day-to-day issues
  • Tracking trends, analyzing data, initiating technology, and implementing process improvements
  • Facilitating presentations at department level to improve specific knowledge and skills

Job qualifications for this customer service team leader, but are not limited to:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Or Six months to one-year related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Speaking in front of groups of employees and customers
  • Resolving customer and employee concerns efficiently and accurately
  • Proficient with Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software applications
  • Ability to navigate on web-based applications and Pella software
