Essential job qualification and requirements for this construction engineer may include the following:

  • Four-year degree in Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering or five-year Architecture Degree
  • Experience in higher-end residential or light commercial / institutional construction.  7+ years of architectural or engineering experience
  • Ability to travel 10 to 15% sporadically to supervise initial window and door installations, design meetings with architects and building owners, field testing, and field technical sales training
  • Microsoft Office applications including Project, SharePoint, AutoCAD, Databases, ability to develop and improve the content and function of departmental CAD software and processes
  • Construction knowledge and current wall systems, structural background, industry knowledge, window and door installation methods
  • Registered Architect or Professional Engineering License preferred
  • Occasional lifting of material up to 50 lbs. may be required.

Direct supervision of staff members including Architectural Engineers, Sr. Project Technicians and Drafters.
