Brand Marketing Specialist
SUMMARY
Supports marketing communications activations for all portfolio brands across segments and channels to ensure compliance with process, brand, and legal. Works with internal creative and content resources, media/advertising agency partners, segment, digital and product marketing teams, legal team and outside suppliers to ensure communications developed are consistent with the Brand strategies and Brand and legal Guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for upholding brands in Pella’s portfolio by ensuring communications consistently reflect the brand and drive engagement with target audiences. Develops strong working relationships with Pella’s Brand/Segment/Product and AOR Teams to help support their marketing plans and achieve goals. Develops and fosters strong working relationships with internal personnel, agency partners, suppliers and channel partners to stimulate creative thinking, maximize integration and effectiveness.
Marketing Materials: Lead the approval process for all marketing materials developed by external parties. Develop and improve the approval process, tools, resources and systems. Lead the development, coordination and fulfillment of advertising/marketing materials for local use including MOD content and tools. Act as connector between creative, content and segment marketing teams and local marketing leaders to ensure access to materials, assets and other resources that help to enable brand activation at a local level.
Local Brand Efforts: Manage local brand co-op programs – including communication, reporting and compliance systems. Work with local marketing leads and agency partners to promote corporate systems and processes. Promote new assets and tools via ongoing communication with local distributors.
Digital Aptitude: Ability to support the content development and execution of digital sales and marketing projects such as websites, mobile, digital advertising, apps, email marketing, SEO, video, digital sales tools, social media, etc. Partner with the Marketing Communications Digital Team and agency partners to tailor content and creative design for each medium. Ensure consistent customer experiences across online, offline and multiple digital platforms. Build plans for ongoing development to stay current as technologies evolve.
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
Up to 10% + travel should be expected.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B. S.) from four-year college or university; and 3-5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to give prepared speeches to public groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as ROI in business and specific marketing applications, fundamentals of CAGR, discounts and commissions. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations such as media performance analysis, reporting revenue growth and market share gain.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of abstract and concrete variables to build a business case or rationale for decisions.
