Back-up Company Fleet Driver
Qualifications

Job qualifications for
the company fleet driver include, but are not limited to:
- Must be at least 21 years of
age
- Minimum of five years
experience of over-the-road driving of tandem tractor/trailer, including
backing equipment into alleys and docks
- Must have expert knowledge of
city driving in large metropolitan areas
- Must have safe driving
record
- Must be familiar with and abide
by all DOT regulations
- Ability to write routine
reports and correspondence
- Basic computer skills desirable
- Must have only one valid CDL
license
- Must have current Medical
Examiner’s certificate
- Must be willing to be away from
home three to six days at a time
- Driver must have a minimum of
500,000 miles driving experience with over the road tandem axle tractor
and 53-foot trailer
- Driver must have been an over
the road driver within the past 6 months
- Have no more than three
recorded moving violations within a three-year period
- Must know how to block, brace,
and secure a load

required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision,
and depth perception.
