If so we need to talk to you.  Pella Corporation, an innovative, dynamic, growing company is now looking for an Associate Retail Sales Consultant for the Chicagoland area.  We need a confident, outgoing individual who is self-disciplined and thrives on a challenge.  This 6-12 month sales program provides an opportunity to learn and understand the Pella product offering and quoting system, interact with homeowners and a smooth transition to the outside Retail Sales Consultant position.  We provide you with a exciting, fast paced and fun work environment.  We look for you to provide a competitive drive, an outgoing nature, and the will to learn to be the best sales consultant in the industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire in depth knowledge of Pella’s offering and the competitive landscape
  • Develop an understanding of and adhere to the Retail Selling Process in all aspects of sales related interactions
  • Assist in the sales process in the field and in the Pella Showrooms
  • Become proficient in the use of PQM, ACE, Microsoft Outlook, all office equipment and processes related to sales operations
  • Complete the professional sales training at our corporate office and any local workshops as they become available
  • Gain experience with field measurement and installation techniques, practices and policies
  • When possible, ride along with sales consultants on appointments and become familiar with the in-home sales process including PQM pricing, use of financing options, use of POT process, and closing techniques
  • Collaborate with the Operations teams to ensure successful after sale service requirements


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
