Architectural Engineer
Essential
job qualification and requirements for this architectural engineer may
include the following:
Four-year degree in Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering or five-year Architecture Degree.
Experience in higher-end residential or light commercial / institutional construction. 7+ years of architectural or engineering experience.
Ability to travel 10 to 15% sporadically to supervise initial window and door installations, design meetings with architects and building owners, field testing, and field technical sales training
Software experience including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and SharePoint; AutoDesk applications including AutoCAD & Revit; Bluebeam Revu; Databases; ability to develop and improve the content and function of departmental CAD software and processes.
Construction knowledge and current wall systems, structural background, industry knowledge, window and door installation methods.
Registered Architect or Professional Engineering License preferred
Occasional lifting of material up to 50 lbs. may be required.
SUPERVISING OTHERS:
Direct supervision of staff members including Architectural Engineers, Sr. Project Technicians and Drafters.
