$27/hour- higher pay available depending on experience

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST- 2ND SHIFT

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative lubrication and inspection of all Pella Corporation’s machines and equipment within a scheduled time period
• Identify machine malfunctions to prevent machine breakdown and write job orders to prevent machine breakdown
• Flexibility of work hours including mandatory overtime when business needs require.
• Able to safely work with and around moving equipment.
• Ability to communicate in a concise, polite, and respectful manner with team members.
• Regular/dependable attendance consistent with attendance guidelines is required. 
• Operate equipment/tools that require close control, adjustment, and following production orders.
• Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance duties.
• Follow Standard Work or other documented processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Job-specific experience is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Basic Motor Control
• Class B- Electrical License *onsite training provided 
• Beginning PLC’s

SKILLS AND TALENTS:

·         Learn and implement Lock Out/Tag Out and safety procedures to assure the safe operation of the equipment.

·         Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite, and respectful manner.

·         Able to work with minimal supervision

·         Proficient computer knowledge

·         Read and interpret blueprints, machine, and parts manuals

·         Accuracy and attention to detail

.         Decision-making/problem-solving skills

·         Time management

·         Welding
